Farberware FCM12SS 12-Cup Coffeemaker
The Farberware FCM12SS has a tough glass carafe which makes 12 cups of coffee. The carafe’s lid is well make and prevents steam burn when pouring. There’s a programmable timer and 24 hour digital clock and it fits 4 cone filters (not flat bottom filters). Very stylish stainless steel finish. There’s a water level indicator window. The water reservoir opening is extremely small – too small – and causes spillage when you’re filling the tank. Also when you lift the tank lid in the middle of it brewing to either add water or coffee this makes the power turn off. Although it’s a safely feature, it’s a pain. So overall it’s a good looking machine for a good price and if you can overlook a few minor design features, it’s pretty good.
Farberware 10 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker – White
The Farberware coffee maker is not expensive. It makes good coffee and is easy to program and use. It’s also easy to clean. It makes 10 cups of coffee but if you are only making 4 cups of coffee it’s hard to tell the amount of water in the reservoir. You have to play with your water and coffee ratio a bit. This pot uses 6 ounce cups for their measure (not the standard 8 ounces that the usual measuring cups use). The timer and clock is easy to use. But there are unfortunately a few drips. The so-called “stop drip” feature doesn’t work very well. Despite that it makes coffee quickly. You just have to clean up the mess.
Farberware FSCM100R 10-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker
This Farberware programmable coffee maker produces up to 10 cups of quality coffee. It has a cone-shaped basket with swing-out filter which makes for swift coffee making. Unfortunately the plastic it is made from appears very thin and flimsy. The door is difficult to close and to make it close you have to pull the filter basket out of shape. Cleaning is a nightmare. The small lid on the carafe is not detachable and the hold in the top of the carafe is difficult to get your hand in and out easily. Overall this coffee maker has small flaws which make it a headache in the long run to use.

It has a stylishly elegant design which makes it suitable for being on show. Make it the centrepiece wherever you are serving coffee. Its handles and lid knob are designed to keep cool, which makes for easy handling. Great for big household gatherings or commercially. It is quick to brew and can serve up one cup at less than one minute. Once you have finished brewing the urn automatically switches to “keep warm” which ideal for keeping it at an ideal drinking temperature. Great investment. The Farberware FSU236 coffee maker is well worth its price tag.
