Mr Coffee coffee makers generally seem to have a lot of problems with leaking and overflowing. Be warned which Mr Coffee coffee maker you choose to purchase, as some models are much better than the others.

This coffee maker gives you the freedom to make quality espressos and cappuccinos in your own kitchen. It has a thermal block heater which makes for quick brewing and an easy to remove water reservoir makes it easy to get started. Simple directions in the instruction manual and very easy coffee maker to clean up. Mr Coffee espresso and cappuccino maker allows a standard size coffee cup to fit under the spout. Powerful steam feature. There has been small amount of leaking after use. There is no automatic drip feature so you have to manually tell it when to stop pouring – make sure you keep an eye on it.
Mr. Coffee ECM21 4-Shot Espresso Machine and 8-Cup Coffeemaker Combo
This coffee maker brews up to 8 cups of coffee and 4 cups of espresso. There’s a variable steam control for steaming or frothing milk. Handy brew-pause function and easy to remove filter basket and water reservoir. This Mr Coffee coffee maker has a glass carafe which is dishwasher safe. It’s good value for money with people not reporting many problems with it. Although the carafe lid doesn’t open fully, you can still clean it easily. Might be better if the frother was more accessible. Also might be good if there was a timer or clock. The only real drawback if you like very hot coffee is that the coffee and espresso could be little hotter. It does take some time getting used to the controls, but once you are familiar with the instruction manual there are no problems. Once you practice using this coffee maker it’s easy to make good quality coffee and espresso.
Mr. Coffee FTX49 12-Cup Programmable Coffeeemaker
Many people have complained that this Mr Coffee coffee maker leaks very badly or stops working shortly after the 90 day warranty. Some have complained about overflowing and even having their coffee maker blow up. There is inbuilt water filtration which removes up to 97% of chlorine. You can also choose if you want to make your coffee stronger due to the brew strength selector. It’s great that this coffee maker turns itself off after 2 hours. Overall probably not recommended unless you want to be purchasing a new coffee maker every 90 days.
Mr. Coffee ISX43 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker
Unfortunately this coffee maker has received mixed reviews. Although definitely very stylish with nice black and chrome – it over-flows too often. The stainless steel carafe doesn’t seem to keep the coffee hot – in fact when it comes out it is not hot enough. When this coffee maker works it does make a very good cup of coffee. The controls are easy to use and accessible. Mr Coffee ISX43 is a tall model – so make sure you have a lot of room above it to top in. (The top is hinged at the back.) The clock is very bright – handy in the night when you feel like a midnight coffee. There’s a useful timer for delayed brewing and it has both regular and strong brew settings. Where you pour the water in at the top, the opening is too small. To avoid spilling, you have to be very careful.
